ASME SA-179 cold drawn seamless carbon steel tube are Medium Carbon Steel Tubes with max 0.35 % carbon content with combination of 0.29-1.06 % manganese. It is applicable to tubular heat exchanger, condenser different similar heat transfer equipment with the minimum wall depth. This type of cold drawn seamless steel tube is widely used in chemical engineering, carbon treatment, oil refining, nuclear electric power generation, aviation, and so forth. ASME SA179 seamless carbon steel pipe is also used for manufacturing boiler water cold wall, economizer, reheater and steam cylinder.
