ASME SA 213 Grade T9 Alloy Steel Seamless Tubes are Carbon Steel Tubes with subsequent addition of chromium, molybdenum and sometimes vanadium are known as chrome moly Tubes. T9 Seamless (SMLS) tube is formed by drawing a solid billet over a piercing rod to create the hollow shell. As the manufacturing process does not include any welding, seamless pipes are perceived to be stronger and more reliable.
