ASTM A53 seamless steel pipe refers to the foreign standard steel pipe grade, which is the American standard. A53-F corresponds to domestic q235 material, A53-A corresponds to domestic 10# material, A53-B corresponds to domestic 20# material.

A53-B Steel materials used to create seamless pipe and welded pipe must be produced via open hearth, electric furnace, basic oxygen, or any combination of these processes.
