The top ten countries in the world are: China (66.151 million tons, up 2.2%), Japan (87.02 million tons, up 1%), India (83.5 million tons, 4.2%) and the United States (6.790 million tons, up 8.5% ), Russia (6,025,000 tons, up 1.4%), South Korea (5,650,000 tons, down 0.9%), Germany (3,485,000 tons, up 4.5%), Turkey (3,115,000 tons, up 7%), Brazil Tonne, up 15.3%) and Italy (2.184 million tons, up 3.3%).
In November 2017, the total steel production in 66 countries was 136 million tons, an increase of 3.7% over the same period of last year.
