Grade J55 oilfield steel casing pipe

This grade J55 oilfield steel casing pipe is relatively low steel grade along with various types of API 5CT standard products. It can be manufactured both seamless and electric welding process. J55 is available with heat treatment methods as full product body or full length of normalization, normalization plus tempering, or quenching plus tempering.

The international standard steel grade of J55 oilfield steel casing pipe is 37Mn5 in addition to, other physical parameters are elongation rate of 0.5%, the yield strength range from 55 to 80ksi, and the minimum tensile strength of 75ksi.

Confirming with SY/T6194-96 standard, both J55 oilfield steel casing pipe and its coupling adopt the same steel grade. Our product contains the sulfur and phosphorus contents of respectively no more than 0.030%.
