34CrMo4 Alloy structural steel

34CrMo4 steel has high durability and creep strength at high temperature, good low temperature impact toughness, good hardenability, no tendency to overheat, small quenching deformation, good plasticity in cold edge shape, and moderate workability. 34CrMo4 steel has poor weldability, preheating before welding, post-weld heat treatment and stress relief. It is generally used after quenching and tempering treatment. It can also be used after high intermediate frequency surface quenching or quenching and low and medium temperature tempering.
