904L stainless steel tube

904L is a non-stabilised low carbon high alloy austenitic stainless steel.

904L stainless steel tube is non-magnetic in all conditions and has excellent weldability and formability. The austenitic structure also gives this grade excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.

904L stainless steel tube has a better corrosion resistance. If the material doesn't corrode in the application, then the copper in the alloy, as well as the chromium, nickel, molybdenum, manganese, silicon and all the rest, will not be released to enter whatever liquid is in contact with the metal.
