SUS 201 stainless steel plate

SUS201 stainless steel , compared with sus304 stainless steel, corrosion-resistant performance greatly reduces . if it stays for a long time in the rain, rust will occur.

The disadvantage of this series of materials is that unbalance of 18% chromium and low nickel content forms ferrite. So in the 200 series stainless steel , chromium content decreases to 15% to 16%, in some cases, droppes to 13% to 14% ,it can instead sus304 stainless steel only in some cases.

200 series stainless steel generally contains low nickel content, whose corrosion resistance is far lower than 300 and 400 series. It is not easy to tell SUS201 from other high-nickel stainless steel with the naked eye.
